Hypoxia was never one to be sociable. He was always found practicing water magic or was otherwise lost in his thoughts. The only time that he steadily comes out to talk to others is to complete his duties as a Shaman. Hypoxia is often viewed as aloof and distant by others. Before settling into his current clan, he had spent much of his time traveling from clan to clan. He would pick up odd jobs, and by no means were they always the righteous ones. Whatever paid the most held his sway.

He would pray to the Gods for forgiveness later.

In events unknown to his clan that ‘later’ came much sooner than he had expected. Whatever had happened to him left him distant and damaged. He took no interest in others. He took no help from them, but he also took nothing from them. No gifts. No help. As far as they know… Well, they really don’t know if he cares about anything. He studies endlessly, but his eyes drift off into tandem. He has a mate and had hatchlings, but does he actually care for them? They didn’t know. Maybe they would never know.

The scars of the past linger in the present.
