Legend says, that the place where the Kain and Yii settled down was once the bearthplace of the "Zephyr Dweller". In old stories, he was one of the first chosen ones to inherit the Windswept Plateau. Of course these are just rumours, but the founders of the clan believe in the stories about the Dweller where tolerance, sharing and following every individuals dreams are of utmost importance.

Kain is a leader with both strong mind and body. He's a proud and sometimes strict leader, for he has clear ideas for the clan. Kain has a strong sense of responsibility and tends to work a little too much for the clans well being.
He still has a soft side, though. He really thinks he found his soulmate in Yii and highly respects every other member of the clan. Also, as a gift of new found friendship, an Arcane clan (SkyesBride) sent Iolanthe while she was still a hatchling. Kain, whose own children hadn't hatched from their eggs yet, welcomed her as if she was his own daughter. He spoils her more than anything and watches over her like a proud father.
