Warden knows why Paroxysm chose her from the mass of others when she was just past hatchling-hood, but she will not let this opportunity slip through her claws. So she allows Paroxysm to see some young idealized version of herself in her, allows her to attempt to pair her off with her son, Phonoi, if it means she gets Paroxysm's ear. But unlike her hapless mentor, Hoarfrost is not oblivious to the scheming of the white Nocturne, Maenad. And yet, her jaws remain glued shut for the time being. She can benefit from this, she knows, if she plays it right.
An adept fighter, and excellent negotiator, Hoarfrost fits perfectly among the twisting passages of the ice caves. The pale Mirror has already begun to complete some of the more tedious duties for the Regent, and is expected by most to take on the mantle in a few years time.
