Biography

Duran is the most ill within the clan, with a rare disease that leads him to bleed easily. He doesn't have enough platelets and he has to be careful not to cut himself, lest his blood be unable to clot. Myseon is surprisingly the most protective of him, making sure that his sickness doesn't cause him undo pain.
He spends the most time with Croft, not sharing Alanii's love of flying or the violence of his other clan brothers and sisters.

One would think he would fear Asara, however he has proven that even if he is not violent in nature and even if he has a disease he is not one to be taken advantage of. He has earned Asara's respect when he caught her trying to kill him in the middle of the night, not only did he stop her attack, he was able to wound her in turn and send her away. Duran bares no ill will towards her, he chose this life and this clan is home to survivors -- if you can't survive, you don't belong.
