To say the least, The Batter has a mission to fulfill. Disgusted by the world and its lack of what he sees as cleanliness, he consistently wears an uncaring, somewhat condescending expression and answers in a gruff, snappy tone to almost everything. He appears reticent and unfeeling, often speaking in as few words as possible. The Batter quickly gets to the point in his conversations and is determined to 'purify' the world around him through force if he must, making him volatile and dangerous.
Observant, The Batter is very smart and can solve puzzles and conflict with ease, but allows others to solve things for themselves rather than deciphering anything on his own. He appears to be meticulous in the way he goes about completing his 'mission' and does not like to be held up by distractions. Why he is driven to cleanse the world of impurities remains vague to the dragons around him. They only know to stay out of his way, or expect the worst.

The Batter seemed to appear out of nowhere; no one is quite sure when and where from he came to the clan lair. As is nature, they accepted him wholeheartedly, but have found him to be very invasive and brutal in getting his way. He currently has no job, and from the looks of it he never will. He refuses to do anything to help the clan, and unknowingly has stricken a subtle fear into the clan's members; they're slowly catching on to his blindly sinister goal. He doesn't mind.

The Batter's staff is where his power lies. His main weapon, he uses it like one would a baseball bat, and to others' horror he fights by brutally and mercilessly pounding his enemies to pulp. It isn't uncommon for The Batter to disappear from the lair for a day or two and return with his staff in hand, trailing blood.
