Lovanthus is a dragon who was meant for great things, but he decided to take his fate into his own claws and abandoned his home. For a time, he remained a rogue, surviving on his own and learning how to cope in the shadows and the underworld, but eventually he found his way into the Virid'litore Clan where he quickly found a new purpose and a new family that he wanted to help protect. He now uses all he has learned for the sake of the clan and has found a great friend in the most unlikely of dragons, the honorable Arvel. While Lovanthus does not hesitate to blur the lines between what is morally good and bad, he always keeps his clan in mind. That doesn't keep him from getting into all sorts of trouble, though.

Lovanthus is part of a unit of warriors called the Viriditari who venture beyond the territory of the clan to do what they can to secure allies to fight against the beastclans.

Recently, an old comrade of his - Caspan - has joined the clan, and though he continues to court females during mating season, once the rut has passed he prefers to spend his free time with the plague dragon.
