Palous seemed to be perpetually grumpy in his old age. His presence exuded an air of formidable strength and an unwelcoming demeanor. While Palous was known for his cantankerous disposition towards the younger dragons of the clan, a peculiar soft spot existed within the depths of his gruff exterior. Hidden away from prying eyes, Palous dedicated his time to caring for a small flock of chickens, finding solace and companionship in their presence.

Despite his grumpiness, Palous possessed a remarkable tenderness when it came to his beloved chickens. With every cluck and scratch, he found a sense of peace and tranquility that eluded him amidst the chaos of dragon clan life.
