Respected | Calm | Teaching Mint found Adony wondering the clans territory an old tome strapped to his side and a grey scarf wrapped around his neck. "Are you lost my friend?"She chirped, startling the great dragon, "Who said that?" he squinted at the dragon, unable to pinpoint where she was. "I did!" She sung, her wings beating quickly to keep at his eye level "I'm afraid my sight is not what it used to be dear" He shook his head "I am also afraid that I am quiet lost" The small nocturne looked at the dragon head cocked to one side. She was amazed he had made it this far with the little sight he had. "Well I can take you to my clan, you can rest there for a bit friend" She landed on his head, determined to guide the guardian. He laughed, a loud happy sound, and took to the air at her command. They landed gracefully at the lair that evening, Jaka shaking his head at the sight of the little nocturne riding the guardian, laughing as he welcomed them into the lair. Over that night dinner it was discovered he used too be a librarian before his sight became to bad to read. "I wish I could read, again, I miss reading the stories in this tome," He gently patted the book at his side "Especially to the hatchlings of my old clan. I had to leave once I outstayed my use" Adony sighed, his features heavy with sadness. After a moment the clans healer jumped to her feet, racing out the room and returning only a few moments later. "These might help," She placed the glasses on him. He blinked a few times, and swung his head around the room, wonder on his face. "I - I can see!" He scrambled for the tome at his side, opening it up as quickly as he could. "I can read!" The healer smiled, we can get you better ones soon, but they will have too do for now" The guardian swept the mirror up into a crushing hug, thanking her over and over again as she struggled for air. Jaka reached over to the guardian and tapped him on the should "You are suffocating my clan mate" The mirror immediately feel to the floor "I okay!" She panted, coughing slightly, her mate checking her over for injury "I'm fine honest" She smiled, cheerfully punching the guardians shoulder, the clan laughing at the now sheepish looking guardian. |
