Owlbird
Unofficial big sister

As a young dragon, Owlbird, wanting to prove her strenght to her older siblings, decided to attack beast clan members. But, to her dismay, she miscalculated the number of foes who were nearby and was quickly overhelmed. She endured attacks aimed at her wings, making her unable to fly properly. If it wasn't for her siblings who were watching, she would have probably lost her life, considering how vulnerable she was.
The beasts had to retreat from the violent attacks of the siblings, and fled.
But this didn't fix Owlbird's wings.

Time passed, and the dragon siblings had to leave the nest.
Owlbird, still unable to fly long distances, had to find a way around that disability.
She travelled by foot, choosing the shortest path toward the peaceful Windswept Plateau, passing by the volcanic Ashfall Waste. She passed by multiple lairs, exchanging help for fishing or taking care of the nests for food. Being flightless, she couldn't hunt as well as the other dragons, but her patience made her perfect for what she offered to do.

As she was searching for another lair to propose her services to, she met a small Fae. Introducing herself as Purity, she explained that she was looking for more dragons to live in her lair, in exchange for help. The two got along, and Owlbird decided to stay with her new friend. As a welcome gift, Purity gave her an apparel to help her fly greater distances.

Owlbird's pet, a Volume she found in a chest around the frontier between the Windswept Plateau and Ashfall waste, is quite known in the lair for randomly camouflaging itself as a normal book, and suddendly opening its wings and fly away when someone tries to take it.
It seems to like following her while she clumsily flies to the nearest river or plain.
