Shaihulud, often referred to as The Sandworm for his uncanny ability to burrow into the festering soil of the Plaguelands. He heavily relies on his secondary pair of eyes to detect heat signatures above the ground, poised to strike incoming beasts and watching dragons to decipher their intentions. Shai's hostile personality and cunning traps repel most intruders from his path, or trap them long enough to harvest. He often sleeps outside of the lair, half buried in the soil he finds so comfortable.

Born to a hunter and a priest, raised to be devoted to the Plaguebringer and survive the hardships of the Wasteland. Shai has never known differently. From the moment he was led from his birthclan out in the Wasteland he learned to fend for himself. Learned of survival and battle, of hunger and willpower. Before long he accepted the lesson that his father gave him by placing him in the face of danger. And he survived. Grew and adapted, perfecting his techniques and adopting a cunning stance to getting what he needed. Through trial and error he learned to trap his prey and keep scavengers at bay.
