Light's dazzling surface is a mere distraction from shade-touched secrets laying restlessly beneath. Decaying scrolls always grabbed Helianthus' eyes, a piqued interest as a fledgling soon devolving into obsession as he aged. His unending thirst to pry soon poisoned him, burdening him with an incomprehensible knowledge, and as his foothold on reality faltered he exiled himself from his clan to haunt the Sunbeam Ruins. It was not long before the Pack descended upon him, his wealth of eldritch Light history proving invaluable in the studies of Luminax. His mental fortitude slips in and out of his grasp like water, meandering through the Pack with an unending stream of incantations spilling from his lips. Most avert their eyes and make space, not wanting his glossy eyes to linger on their hides, not wanting to find out what shattered him so deftly.
