Fleshed Personality and Story:
Eridanus is awed by the scientific mysteries surrounding the frightening and unknown. So he has planted his laboratory and observatory where he has the perfect view of The Great Sundial. He is closer than most: the fear of the curses and plagues caused by these mysterious ruins is based on consistent truth. He studies and carefully records in writing the twisted creature that he spies through his telescopes, and has formulated many great theories based on these careful annotations.

Has Eridanus ever gone very close to The Great Sundial or any of the creatures that come forth of it? Watch him waggle his head impatiently with you should you ask, and see the slight tremble in the otherwise indignant sniff: "Don't be absurd! I'm a scientist! I collect data. Very important work. Taking personal risks could interfere with my work!"

It's no question that Eridanus is the expert: He sits where none other care to sit: Day after day, month after month, and year after year. He meticulously collects data off of observation and the stories of brave souls who have ventured near and survived. But will he ever risk taking his studies another step? Well, what do you think?
