Cora has always been a creature of bright intensity. As a blood mage, emotions are an essential part of her life, and she sees no reason not to honor and live by her feelings. She loves deeply and often, and that attracts many dragons to her. Her intensity was what originally attracted her mate Strife, and what eventually drove them apart.

Strife was a dragon with simple desires; he wanted to be pointed in the right direction by his leaders, he wanted to fight when needed, and he wanted to come home every day to a beautiful and above all loyal mate. Cora understood that, but she couldn’t understand why her loyalty to him meant that she couldn’t also be committed to other dragons. She had never given him the impression that her affections were exclusive, and their conflicting needs eventually spelled an end for their relationship.

Devastated that things hadn’t worked out with her mate of years, Cora does her best to move on with sadness lingering in her heart. Before long a new dragon comes to the clan, and when their eyes meet Cora feels a flicker of interest, the first she’d felt in months. Before long she’s head over heels with the handsome Alric. Their love is fiery, intense, and above all open; Cora was very clear with Alric from the beginning that she can’t contain her affections, and much to her delight Alric feels the same way. They have a beautiful daughter Vivienna, and their relationship though unofficial is surprisingly stable for such passionate dragons.
