Irady is sharp and acerbic. She cannot afford to be gentle anymore; all the tender portions of her character have been cut away long ago. She is not kind, but she is not cruel either. She speaks only the truth, and when even the truth becomes too much, she will remain silent. Irady is often quiet.

No one knows what happened to make Irady like this. Her story is her own-not for anyone else to know, only her. If asked, her only response will be a look so full of untold sorrow it could only be described as haunting. Sometimes, if the right dragon asks at the right time, it looks as though she might say something more; but the words always catch in her throat, unable to go any further.

Whatever her story might be, whatever might have hurt her in the past, whatever cost her her softness, Irady seems resolute in not allowing it to happen again. She traded in her kindness for a blade, her warmth for armor, and she wields them knowing exactly what she has sacrificed to never be hurt again. She will fight for this strange, dark clan she has carved out a home in; and perhaps she will finally be able to heal.
