Biography
GRISELDA
Griselda and her brother Gideon were hatched from two abandoned Ice eggs. When the eggs were investigated, they cracked almost simultaneously, spewing black smoke - always a bad sign. Nevertheless, the hatchlings were sweet and cuddled up to the dragons that found them, and they were cautiously shepherded back to the clan.
Griselda insists on taking all the duties of an elder sister, even though Gideon is mere milliseconds younger than she is. Protective and loyal, she will fight to defend what she loves to the bitter end. However, she's also rather arrogant and has a bit of a hero complex, rushing into danger even when it is not wise under the delusion of "no one else is brave enough to". Gideon worries about her and will usually follow her, giving her someone else to look after. Although Gideon has endless devotion to Griselda, she sometimes sees him as a nuisance and always in danger, but will protect him with her life nevertheless. Honestly, her dream would be to die doing something heroic, something few of the elders encourage for obvious reasons. She always asks to go with exalted dragons to the Icewarden, but her fierce hunting skills are needed in the clan... even if they do get her in danger sometimes.
When Shade-possessed monsters fight their way into the clan, all fighters are needed to send them... to a better place. Perfect time for Griselda to show off her skills, right? Actually, no. When it happens, she and Gideon go completely feral, to the point where they injure just as many dragons as the shade monster does. After it's dead (or made a familiar, either way honestly), they go back to normal. They don't know why it happens or why to them, but other dragons in the clan generally keep their distance from them because of it. Griselda doesn't worry about it too much.
