J A D E Brightalon Divider of Nature and Dragonmade items Naturalist / Down-To-Earth / Caring / Clumsy Jade is a mysterious dragon. She likes the woods, mostly exotic ones. She would sometimes never leave for days, and she would be there enjoying the scenery. Nobody really knew her except most of the animals. She had an amazing singing voice and it would cause the birds to sing along. She helped anyone or anything she saw that was hurt. Jade had one day built a small house in the woods, and with it came her stuff she had collected over the years. There was a chess set that was missing quite a few pieces. She had many fabrics and cloths, and she would sometimes adorn the animals with dresses and other things she would sew herself. She would sew with a porcupine quill and spider thread, since it was very durable. She ate nuts and berries, and didn't dare harm the helpless little insects. She did what ever she could to prevent herself from stepping on one of the poor creatures, and she did. She hid inside her house and never came out unless she absolutely had to. All the animals missed her at the time, and she worked hard to make them happy. She kept sewing and sewing, so much she almost never left the little house. She would fly instead of walking, but she was very clumsy in the sky, and was more of a down-to-Earth kind of dragon. One day, while flying, she got caught in a storm. The winds were so strong that she couldn't control herself, and was tossed this way and that. As the winds swept her away, she soon feel it lessening. But too exhausted to even flap her wings once, she let herself go and plummeted towards the ground. As she blinked open her eyes, she could see many strange dragons surrounding her. She was in a cave, and a female mirror was tending to her wings. A female guardian introduced her as Shade, and told her that where she was in now was the territory of Clan Luna. The female mirror also introduced herself as Mist, the healer of the clan. Mist told Jade that she could never fly again, because while falling from the sky, a part of her spine struck a sharp rock, and disabled the nerves running into her wings, rendering them paralysed. She could never fly again. On her way to recovery, she met a Nocturne called Il'daran, or The Green Arrow, as he calls himself. He told her that he was too, caught in a storm that injured his wings so much that he could not use it anymore. He was the only other dragon she could relate to. Immediately she fell in love with him, and when she finally admitted to him about her love, he realised that he was slowly falling in love with her too, and so they became mates. It didn't take long for her to adapt to a life without flying, but her wings were a great burden, limply hanging by her side, dragging on the ground whenever she walked. But then, Ithalr, the clan tinkerer, proposed an idea. He made a metal exoskeleton for her wing, implanted it with magic, and strapped it onto Jade's wings. The exoskeleton could fold and extend her wings on voice command, but it was too heavy to fly. Nevertheless, Jade immediately thanked Ithalr for the kindness he gave her. Jade had watched the battle of the Sectors rage while sitting in the healer's den. Eventually, when the Sectors were established, Jade proposed to join the Nature Sector, lead by Geodria. Geodria accepted her proposal, and now Jade is a valued member of the Nature Sector, and is one of the wisest in the clan. She is also the living proof that Nature and Dragonmade items can be used together.
