The Correctional Facility is home to a great many dragons, those that guard and staff, and those who find themselves in their chains. Florian is no prisoner, but deals with his fair share of them. As someone employed by the Facility, he does his job to keep the criminals in line and out of trouble, but he does it in his own specific way.

Florian is a rancher, owning a fair plot of land for himself and those he raises, orphaned beasts mostly. They need to be trained, fed, cleaned up after, and cared for. Florian loves his job, loves the beasts that live there, and loves the land they live on; one of the only places that isn't damn burning. However ranching is a big job, you need to till the soil, plant seeds, reap what you sow, feed said sow to the beasts, clean up their messes, and much much more. It's not a job Florian would be too thrilled to do on his own. Lucky for him he has just the dragons to help him.

Being employed by the Correctional Facility means that he has a near unlimited supply of strong workers, and nothing spells rehabilitation like good honest farm work. That's what he tells them anyway. He'll smile to himself every time he can head into the ranch house with a cold pint in hand, watching out the window as everything comes together. These breaks don't last long; Florian's a born rancher, and is just too restless when he's not out there throwing his back into it.
