Such pretty titles I carry, but none think of the Reality that goes with them. Yes, I walk in the Light,
but ONLY the light. I cannot pass any stretch of shadow. I must be wary for if I do not pay attention I can be caught without a path...and when the light fades from where I stand...

It is awful, the nothingness I live in when I am caught. I cannot see, I cannot smell or taste anything.
I cannot hear even the beating of my own heart. Once I tried to lay one limb upon another, but I did not feel talons upon my foreleg, nor scales under my hand.

Then again, I cannot be certain my limbs touched, for I do not even have the sense that tells
me where my limbs are or if they moved at all. Maybe in the dark I HAVE no limbs at all. Maybe I cease to exist until the rays of the sun, or the flickering of a candle illuminate my form once more.

As for Image of a Leader, what kind of Leader am I? How could I be, as some have said,
the Foretold Herald of a new age that will Lead an Army of Light against the Shadow when I am so deeply afraid of the dark?
