Benevolence believes that she is on a divine mission to purify the land of Sornieth. She actively hunts down dragons she believes to be wicked and offers the choice of redemption or death. What this redemption entails is fairly vague and only really known inside her own head, so many dragons fall to her claws.

The only exceptions to her rampages are her clanmates. She sees them as part of some kind of holy order and therefore already pure.

Her clanmates believe that her madness is a result of being touched by the Shade or venturing too close to the Wyrmwound as a hatchling.
