Princess is the adopted daughter of Illusion and Quetzal. The couple found her wandering the auction house and Illusion was taken aback by how much she resembles his honorably exalted mother, Queenie. Quetzal needed no convincing to take her in as she remembered her own clanless days and was struck by the sweet nature of the young coatl. They brought her to the lair and introduced her to her two new brothers * * and * *, who they jokingly referred to as triplets since they were born on the same day. However they've had to stop doing this as something very strange has become apparent. Princess doesn't age. At least not normally. Luckily for her, the coatl's dad is a very powerful magic worker and researcher, and his teacher is even better. Together Illusion and StarBorn have discovered that Princess ages at 1/4 the rate as is normal, meaning she ages 1 year for every four years she is alive. As her family tries to find a way to get her to age normally, she is treated just as her namesake would be.

While Princess's new parents are all that she hoped for and more, her adopted brothers leaves something to be desired, in her mind at least. Even though they are the same age they are always bossing her around and telling her that she can't do things because it would be too dangerous for a hatchling like her. (Secretly though she loves them a great deal, especially when they let her stay up late and eat sweet treats when they watch her. Just don't tell either of them!) When She first joined the clan she had a debilitating fear of the dark. Recently however, she claims a little flame comes to keep her company at night. Most of the clan thinks she just invented an imaginary friend as a coping mechanism, but her brothers and some of her friends sometimes swear that a little light will blip out of sight as they come up to greet her when she is alone.
