The Ghost of Spirit Woods
All her life she was alone, save for the lumbering spirit that plagued her existence for centuries. Her body was tormented every day, as the ghost that lurked inside her restlessly tumbled and fought in its fleshy prison. However, the aspect that drew the most suffering was the solitude, and hatred felt by all creatures towards her.
The Enemy was armed to the teeth with silly spears and swords, as they laughed and cheered about their previous conquest, oblivious to the warning signs around them. Had the darting spirits and the howls of ghouls not warned them of the danger that lied ahead? Their watcher in the woods shook her head sadly, as she did not wish to kill these fools, but it must be done to preserve her pact with the demon. She lunged towards them, teeth and claws bared and coming in for the kill.
An epic fight emerged, for these fools were no amateurs, but she was slowly gaining the upper hand. Suddenly the one she held with her claws plunged his spear into her heart, and it was all over in an instant. White mist spilled from her wound and mouth, the massive form slumped to the floor, bested at last. "Thank you" she whispered, to no one in particular, as tears of joy flowered from her dead eyes.
However, she may have been more alive then than ever before...
