Hipparchus

A wanderer and adventurer at heart, Hipparchus fit seamlessly into his roll as mapmaker for Clan Vanadium. Ever longing to discover what is beyond the next horizon, life in a nomadic clan is like the dragon immortals sent a blessing themselves unto him. Day to day, he marks their travels on his many scrolls, keeping track of their routes even when their path circles about; there is always something new to discover, in the Pearlcatcher's eye. So devoted to his cartography was Hipparchus, that he convinced an artist from the Shardik Clan to tattoo an accurate, and proportional, map of their inhabited realms of Sornieth onto his very wings. He displays the ink proudly, often using the image as an actual guideline for determining location.

In addition to his map making ways, Hipparchus is a dreamer of the stars. He idolizes the Arcanist's knowledge so strongly, that even his primary colours are a tribute to the celestial deity. This devotion was stunningly displayed in his now mate, Bijou, the moment he laid eyes upon her. The astronomer of the Shardik Clan is the perfect drakka for him; she maps the stars while he maps the land. As one, they are piecing together the beauties of the universe and the awe of the Arcanist himself.
