Biography

"These are the greatest of magical creatures. Are they not?"

Quartz is our resident arcanist. He has traveled all the way from the Starfall Isles to our clan to spread the word of how magical energies are stored and changed inside a dragon's body. Quartz himself isn't much of a magic user himself actually. Ever since he had been a hatchling he had a hard time tapping into the magical energies of his surroundings. Perhaps that is what spurred his interest in his current field of study. He also believes that cats themselves are simply made of magic, hence him dragging more and more of these cuddly felines into our clan.

His greatest desire is to one day converse with the Arcanist himself, to learn more about the very origins of magic and where it is headed after a dragon made use of it.

Quartz is just a total cutie. I love his pastel colours! He looks like an arcane dragon through and through - the apparel is perfect for him! And I love the cats around him :'D

dang i love quartz's outfit. the tunics are used very rarely but here it works very well. i love his character, as well, and the well-executed tie-ins to the outfit. beautiful pastel boy

Quartz seems like a kind soul, his soft colours and the fact that he's covered in cats is probably the reason for that! I really like his lore too, I've never heard of a dragon with that job before, and it seems perfect for him!

Quartz's lore is prett great. It's almost sad how he both cannot tap into his magic and he cannot ever fulfill his dream ): His colors are perfect for an arcanist though. If only that was able to give him magic.
Well, keep on thrying Quartz cause despite it being literally impossible maybe your dream really will come true one day and the Arcanist will be shaking your hand.

I can never make that starwood veil apparel work, so it's always nice to a see a dragon rocking it. Quartz is simple, but I really like that and I love how his face looks peering out from under the cowl. The eye scar actually looks creepy under the shadows. He's got some cute lore too; it's understandable to think cats are made of magic imo

of course i had to have this guy in here somewhere! he looks so soft and simple, and the little cat on his head made me giggle a bit. he looks very mysterious, and just based off of his look, it was easy to tell he was the arcanist of the clan! i think that's very cool, tbh, just being able to tell something like that just by looking at them, and you did a very good job with Quartz!

Quartz Is a very nicely dressed Wildclaw with a purpose! (And many cats.) another unconventional choice for me based on aesthetics alone. I saw that he was 4 years old and had a nice piece of art in his bio which was a treat beside his lore. I hope that he reaches his goal someday and is able to converse with the Arcanist to obtain insight into the most intimate understanding of Magic.

Quartz is such a beautiful and soft pastel dragon! What an amazing choice to be an arcanist! I think he may be onto something about cats being pure magic and I can certainly see why he keeps so many close to him! His lore and art are simply adorable!

CAT MAN QUARTZ- I love his bio so much, cats are INDEED filled with the magical capabilities especially to make other love them. I really want more lil cat friends in my own lair, but sadly I can't seem to remember to get them once I'm back on my feet and my wallet's breathing. Anyways, I love the subtle pink on his wings it really helps blend the bright magenta and pinks of the halo, tome, and fieldtools - a very pretty old lad.

Sorry, but I saw the cats and had to click immediately. From the thumbnail, Quartz initially seemed like a typical soft pastel aesthetic dragon to me, but then I saw the details you've added with his outfit and I gotta say, I am very impressed and ever-so-slightly-envious of your dressing skills now. The shadowy face with a hint of darkened eye scar is just absolute -chef's kiss-. And now that I look at him more closely and note the arcane emblem, halo, tome, and cosmologist's field tools, I am delighted by the impression I'm forming of some sort of frighteningly powerful scholar of esoteric arcane arts who just so happens to adore fluffy cats.

Quartz I love the interesting juxtaposition going on here. At first glance he looks nice and soft. Yet with the apparel pieces chosen, he has a little bit of mystery to him. The hood is a nice touch to break up the almost blandness of the all smooth non-patterened genes. The cats are also fun apparel choices. You can never go wrong with cats, especially for an arcane character.

I don't tend to like Dragons like this one but there's something in his simple look that is very well **** together, the little details are great, I especially like how you can barely see the scar he has inside that Cowl, how did he get it I wonder? Sucha mistery and yet he's surrounded by cats, he's pprobably a softie on the inside. To finish I just want to say the soft pastel pinks here and there are great.

I probably have a bias for pink Arcane wildclaws, but so be it! Quartz is really cool, I especially love his outfit, the peacebringer cowl paired with his veteran eye scar just gives him such an air of mystery! He's sorta edgy, but not too edgy, as his small army of cats demonstrates. Very interesting lore for him too, an Arcane dragon who isn't that good at using magic, but he makes it work!

Quartz is a prime example of “simple but effective”, a splendid Arcane acolyte with a killer outfit to go with!

I love how the rose of his secondary looks like it’s actually white scales becoming pink from the halo’s light, I honestly thought he was wearing an accent to get to that effect, I was super surprised when I saw just how much he matches his theme and apparel. Speaking of outfits, I love his look soooooo much! It’s rather simple but it creates such a strong character for him, it keeps a clear colour scheme and he’s deserved all the praise he’s got until this point and all the praise he’ll be getting in the future!

You shouldn't be surprised I picked Quartz, I'm biased towards both Arcane and Wildclaw dragons,,this boy in particular stands out because of his excellent outfit though, love how his arcane tome and cosmologist fieldtools tie into his lore as a researcher. Of course his pet cats are the stars of the show...I enjoy how you've incorporated them into his lore (which is written fantastically btw), an Arcane dragon who can't do magic is a great concept.

First! I have to say, your dragons need moore likes! Especially this one!!
I love, absolutely love dragons that are dressed to not only show off genes and color combos, but personality! And this guy is bursting with it! He's so simply dressed, but wears it well!
I also like his little snippet of lore, it fits his apperance.
Also lots of little plusses for his cats!
