Of all the things Holograze had bore witnesses to, she had never expected the Tidelord to vanish. When the shock of this news had been fresh, she had pleaded with her adoptive clan to allow her to return to the Sea of a Thousand Currents, but her leader — although sympathetic to the concerns of her Water clanmates — had been firm. "You belong here." Nightra had said. "You are needed here."
The longing to return to the sea to help with the effort of searching for their beloved Tidelord had never abated; though she had gazed longingly towards the sea with her fellow Waterlings, and thrown caution to the winds to soar ever higher than would be necessary to glimpse the soothing blues of the untamed ocean she had been born to, she knew there was nothing she could do.
As the years passed with no news, Holograze knew she could do nothing while she was forbidden to return as a visitor to the sea. No news was good news, she had often heard... as she stared again from her perch atop of the tallest, barren tree on the edge of the nursery, craning her neck towards the Sea of a Thousand Currents, the Water dragons of the Blazing Trails Clan agreed on one thing: each could still feel the smallest trace of presence of the Tidelord. Surely, they had each agreed, he was still alive despite his absence.
