She is a kind dragon but doesn't usually let that show. A strong fighter, she began her work in Wado's clan as a guard of the nesting grounds. Eventually she grew restless with the task. Around the time she was considering moving on to another clan, the other two colonies began to form and she was given a new mission.

Gallows took a liking to one of the marines who settled at the edge of Wado Ichimonji's territory. Given Akainu's rather acerbic nature, no other member of the clan understands their relationship. She often acts as a messenger to other clans and between the two neighboring colonies. Generally, she works to keep their fighting away from the territories. In spite of her hard work, the peace has begun to dissolve.

This has strained her relationship with Akainu and they've since split up.
