Velasco is the sort of dragon most would try their hardest to avoid. He's not exactly social, nor the friendliest of dragons; he can be rather rude and impatient to those that he doesn't like. His sickly appearance and thin, almost frail body doesn't help. He rarely gets any sleep (who needs sleep anyway) and instead stays up for days on end, working on one thing or another.

It's often Pandora who wanders into his chaotic den to find the wayward coatl, either passed out among his old, dusty books or with his snout buried in one of said dusty books. He cares for her, honestly, really he does, it's only that his work is much more important. She always waves it off and says it doesn't matter, but it doesn't stop the guilt he carries.

If Velasco has to work with another dragon, he demands that everything be done his way or not at all. Suggestions or advice on what he does is met with angry, bitter words and plenty of rustled feathers, unless the suggestions come from Pandora, who he's more than willing to listen to.

She's one of the only ones that can convince him to get some actual rest...the others are any dragons big enough to pick him up and lay on him until he agrees to take a break and get some sleep.
