If one didn't take a close look at Altair, it would be easy to mistake him for a calculating, heartless warrior, but his fierce appearance is completely at odds with his completely pacifistic nature. He is a scholar through and through, and while he can be very calculating, his machinations are intellectual rather than political. He does have a very fine mind for politics, and has helped to defuse many a tense discussion between conflicting clans, but his heart lays with books, scrolls, and astronomy. Somewhat esoteric when it comes to his projects, he nevertheless is a very careful and particular planner. Everything in his lair has its place, and he knows exactly where anything is. His mind is similarly organized; he is an encyclopedia of information, and when you catch him when he isn't focused on his work, he can tell you almost anything.

 THE ALCHEMIST
Altair is one of the lead alchemists of the clan, and his experiments and research have changed the course of alchemical history. He disapproves of Baldwin's haphazard approach to alchemy, and has extraordinarily detailed recipes and instructions for everything that he brews.

THE ARCANIST
Dedicated to the Arcanist, Altair's love for research and philosophy make him perfectly suited to such a role. As a liason with the Observatory, he will travel there and return with strange languages and enchanted scrolls that he hides away in his lair without letting anyone else see them. 		HTiMecF.png
