Magenta has been rebuilding and leading clan Esotaria for most of her five years of life. After the clan dismantled when she wasn't even a year old, she decided to build a new clan. She is a strong and intimidating leader to both her allies and enemies, but amongst her clan members she is a trusted friend. She travels with the nomadic faction of Esotaria, leading her clan on planned routes to sell wares to lairs and villages they pass.

Magenta has had many children all of whom she loves, but her adopted son Olivine is her heir, dictated by prophecy. Many of her children have moved out of Esotaria onto other clans while others have chosen exaltation. Her children who are still with Esotaria are Olivine, Bird, Rosemary, Chanterelle and Brownsugar. Some of her grandchildren are part of the clan as well!

Magenta was born into the clan when it was part of the Arcane flight. When the clan disbanded she chose the Shadow flight to have a fresh start for her new clan. She does not force any of her clan mates to devote themselves to the Shadow flight if they do not want to, but she asks they are respectful of the Shadowbinder. If they choose exaltation while in Esotaria, they will go to the shadow flight even if they follow another flights Deity.
