Nengeleth - Water Joy (Woodelven)

Stars fall, they bow their heads. Waves sigh and stream on, pulling, dragging. Flailing, the grasses stare onward with watchful stalks. A rock turns away in a gasp. The water bends, and she rises, her neck turned prettily.

She watches from under dark eyelashes, fluttering, her gaze flowing over and her fingers skirting the tide. Hair, shining blue like night sky, gleaming with gems, pools around her in waves, covering herself in modesty. Her wrists chime with gold, and her ears weighed down by pearl.

The moon ever watching, her arms reach and her back bends. She folds back into the water. No splash, no sound, only the moon, staring, glaring.

Rushing, chasing, pressing, all in haste. Heart beating and hair trailing, her fins thrash and spin all to just push her forward. Water passes and fish gape, coral turn away to let her pass. No fiend dares to hinder her, though no friend does either.

Light sails above while the sea, glowing, growing, fills below. Her heart sings, so she lets it free in siren song. The waters join her in serenade, fish in a carol, sand in a beat, shells in a poem. Jeweled fingers turn, and she dances, grace filling her limbs and joy in her hair. Her lips are upturned in smile as she spins. She laughs, as this is her kingdom.
