Cosmos was blessed with beauty and strength; as well as a pocketful - or rather pearlful - of curses. When Cosmos entered the Dead Temples, he took it upon himself to gather curses placed upon the warriors and even the regular dragons of the clan and put them into his pearl. His pearl is a mass of darkness and dreariness; not as a normal pearl should be.

If the pearl were to break, hell would break loose. The one who breaks the pearl or is closest shall be affected with every curse within the pearl. If they are lucky, they may fall into a deep sleep and trap the curses within their body so they can't run a muck; but if the curses are strong enough the sleep will only save them for a small time and eventually kill the one who contains them.

Cosmos believes he is strong-willed enough to hold this burden, with the help of his mate, Cardician, a Wildclaw blinded by magic who refuses to let Cosmos take upon another curse. The offspring of Cosmos sometimes have tainted pearls, pearls that have somehow contracted curses from Cosmos in the breeding process. These pearls are darker than normal and they make noises from the inside. Cries, echoes, scratching, voices... The souls of the curses trapped within the sphere begging to be released.

- He thinks highly of his parents, and is admittedly a little scared of his mom
- He isn't sure how he came upon his magic that takes curses into his pearl, but he likes it
- He wants to be as good as parent as Celeste
- Despite his kind demeanor, many dragons in the flight are scared of him and his pearl
- Cosmos sort of treats his pearl as a friend and speaks to it when he's lonely; it just makes spooky noises back
