Biography
Spirit Runner. That was the name that had came to her when she first moved into this strange new clan. When a dark imperial with glowing yellow eyes and a purple gyre by his side had asked her, tht was her response. She knew by the look in the older Imperial's eyes that she wouldn't last very long in the cruel wastelands. The small Skydancer had accepted her fate. She was born and was meant to be raised as fodder. On those particularly starry nights, when it's so quiet it's hard to tell that she's in the plague territory, she has this feeling that MAYBE.. just maybe she will find a better home.
And at last she had found it.
Upon entering the Shadowy lair, she was greeted with warm toothy grins and low gravelly churrs of approval. The other dragons, most of whom were fully grown, all gazed at her with deep purple eyes, immeasurable mystery swirling within the eyes of the Shadowy clan. Not all were of the Shadowbinders flight though. Many were like her, having come from different lairs, seeking refuge and acceptance, and finding it here.
A massive black Guardian approached her then, and he lowered his head to her tiny form, peering deeply into her golden eyes. As she gazed back at his, she heard a name whisper in her head, the name of the Guardian looking at her
"Straziran"
The huge guardian touched the tip of his snout to her head, and the lair erupted in roars of jubilation. She had truly been accepted, favored by the lair leader. She was directed to the Skydancers, who all nuzzled her in welcome, some passing her morsels of the nights hunt, others admiring her colors, especially the dazzling glimmering gold that was her underbelly.
She curled up against one skydancer in particular. She heard the name Xanna in her mind, the skydancer telling her her name. She was a dark dancer, with a similar color to her unnderbelly. Though Xanna's gold was a more muted hue, the way it sparkled like a gemstone on her wings was captivating.
SpiritRunner lied ehr head down on her forepaws, giving a sigh of happiness.
She had found her refuge.
She had found acceptance in the watchful care of the Shadowbinder's realm.
At long last, she was home.
