Contrary to most peoples misconception, Mae is not transgender. She is intersex, and therefore has a second horn. She's a bit insecure about it, but with her girlfriend Cinder's help she is trying to learn to be more confident. It's slow going, however, because Mae is a naturally rather shy dragon who tends to prefer to keep to herself and avoid causing trouble. She carved away her own little corner of the clan lair where she sketches and paints either in solitude or with Cinder when she can convince her to just stay still for a few minutes. Mae can sometimes be a bit exasperated by Cinder's outgoing-ness, since she herself has little desire to venture from her cozy corner too often. They make it work though. Occasionally Mae will venture out with Cinder, and Cinder makes an effort not to get too twitchy when she stays in with Mae. 		W0epwET.gif
