Charming and friendly when he wants to be, Riordan is a master at smooth-talking his way into or out of things. A free spirit who despises being tied down and used to just scraping by, Riordan isn't above things like stealing things that won't be too missed from richer creatures if he feels the need. He doesn't trust easily, but he will go to great lengths for the ones who've managed to earn his trust. A quick thinker on-the-fly, it is very difficult to take Riordan by surprise.
Despite his bright colouration, Riordan is quite adept at blending in and sneaking into and out of places with none the wiser and dresses according to the situation. He sometimes wishes that he'd been born with duller colours to make him a less noticeable target, but he does show off his shining scales and glittering belly when the need for flirting his way into or out of situations arises. In such cases, he will adapt his behaviour to the type of personality he thinks his target would prefer.
Riordan likes to hang around Friday, and the two of them usually end up either teaming up to tease someone or having flirting contests to see who can make the most ridiculous double entendres. He and Luxe get along quite well due to their similar outlooks and professions as well. He can also occasionally be seen in the company of a Venomblade Assassin named Kara, or with various other Serthis and Maren whose assistance he seeks with poisons.
