She's beautiful, graceful...

...and she loves weird things. Mudpuppies. Mud. Strange fish no one else will touch because it gives them the creeps. She unabashedly loves it all.

She baffles Naeroetia. The clan leader found her playing by the side of a muddy stream and found that talking to her was like talking to a hatchling. A hatchling with a blinding smile. The small guardian didn't know where she had come from or where she was going, but didn't seem to have a problem with it.

Nae brought her to the clan and while she inquired about any missing guardians from nearby clans, watched as Azaelrie took to the girl, making sure she was playing well with the other clan members and entertaining her endless circular queries.

After he bought a simple harp from a traveling group of merchants that delighted her, Nae sidled up to Azaelrie and murmured, "She isn't leaving, isn't she." Azaelrie didn't even lift his head as he watched Lyaleine pluck a surprisingly melodious tune out of the instrument as he said, "Nope. I'm keeping her."

She gets along really well with Pooka, as his peculiar ailment doesn't bother her in the slightest (seriously, didn't blink even once) and tends to watch him go over his tools and herbs while humming softly. Pooka likes to ramble about whatever he's handling at the moment, and is pleasantly surprised when she pauses to offer surprisingly insightful commentary on it. She also likes his spider, so they were instantly best friends.
