She lived like this for a long time- too long, in fact. But long enough for her get tired of it, long enough for her to decide to stand up and make an attempt to escape that shadow. When she was a hatchling she had always dreamed of being a strong sword-wielding warrior, but as a fae, that goal seemed impossible. How could a dragon with such skinny, weak arms possibly achieve that goal...? But she was determined. She worked as hard as she possibly could, to become a strong warrior. It took a long time, but she eventually achieved her goal.

Everyone wondered how a fae could be so strong and able to wield such a fine blade like hers. It could be the results of her training, or it could be because her father is a Mirror dragon- or maybe both. But now, everybody knows her name, and she's not just Mavis's daughter anymore. She's Zera, one of the clan's most skilled warriors. So many dragons were impressed by her, in fact, that quite a few have asked to be trained by her. For unknown reasons, she turned most of them down, except for one- Iphigenia. It could be, perhaps, that she saw herself in the young pearlcatcher...
