Bambi

Bambi, as happy a wildclaw he may usually be, has been rather subdued since Petalwine's exaltation. He agreed with her decision to go of course. Her research of aquatic flora was her passion and working directly under the Tidelord would greatly help her to pursue that. But Bambi was rather attached to the funny little clan he called family and couldn't bring himself to join her. He'd only be a distraction anyway, Petalwine had often scolded him for it in the past even as she smiled.

Bambi knows the ache will lessen in time though. There are hatchlings to watch over and flower patches to sleep in still after all.

Bambi and Petalwine met in a field of flowers.

He was looking for daisies, she was looking for tulips.

They both spied a four leaf clover, reached for it at the same time, and bumped paws. They looked up, both only just realizing they weren't out in the field alone.

They met by the spring the following evening.
