Biography
Flutter was once a Fae, and known as TheLastButterfly. Her brother embraced his resemblance to the butterfly in his favorite tale, The Last Unicorn, but that wasn't enough for Flutter. She wanted something different.
In order to do that, first she had to leave her home clan. She traveled far, eventually ending up in the Leviathan Trench. The leader of a clan who lived there offered her a place to stay and, exhausted by her long flight, Flutter accepted.
Initially, she kept her name, as she had nothing else in mind to be called. She kept searching, however, exploring everything and asking countless questions. She became an alchemist of no small renown in her clan and, when Baldwin discovered the new gene, Flutter was the first to decide to change.
Before she could do that, she decided to alter her resemblance to her brother even further, by putting swirling markings all over her body. Satisfied, she began the long process of brewing a Bogsneak scroll for herself, and once it was done, she was TheLastButterfly no longer.
Now, Flutter has come into her own a lot more. She feels like the change unlocked her true potential, and it made her feel at peace. She's busily at work melting down materials so she can help her friends achieve their own Bogsneak dreams, but not so busy that she won't have a nest every once in awhile. After all, with Sukh's help, she is able to balance her clan responsibilities as well as take care of her hatchlings until they find new homes.
And, who knows, one day she may even attempt to brew an unhatched egg. She always was a bit too curious for anyone's good.
