-Overworked and Underpaid-
Intern doesn't ask for much. A quiet place to stay. Decent food and water. Maybe a day off every so often. Unfortunately, she has to deal with the most pushy, demanding, and irritating perfectionist in the clan, and working in the nests guarantees that there are never any days off. It's a wonder she's managed to maintain her sanity, especially once you've added up to fifteen squealing, messy little hatchlings to the mix of Things She Has To Deal With. But she tries, and for the most part she succeeds admirably. It's been so many years that she can know the nestmaid's orders before they're even spoken aloud, and can multitask and solve problems between warring hatchlings and fussy parents with an ease that few others could hope to match.

Many of the others in the clan wonder why she even remains with the nestmaid, working in absolute misery, with the skills that she has. In truth, she's deeply afraid of change. Though the job is stressful enough to slowly eat away at the colors of her plumage, it's still a job, and a stable one at that. Happiness has eluded her for a long time, and for now she prefers to simply take solace in the few moments of quiet she can find. 		745.png
