_____As the leader of the Kelpie Clan, Magister Eri is quick-witted, strong-willed, and sharp-tongued. Though generally soft-spoken, this sorcerous skydancer packs quite a temper and makes short work of any would-be instigators or belligerents that encroach on the clan's territory (or his ego) and sends them packing if they know what's good for them.

_____While Eri prefers to resolve things verbally, he has a harsh front from being used in the past. He's often misunderstood by others who only further his resolve to distance himself, and his better judgment is constantly at war with his heart. Eri is a caring perfectionist to a fault, striving to push for the best for everyone-- but often without recognizing boundaries and stepping on toes in the process.

_____Beneath the walls and scars is a thoughtful soul, flamboyant personality, and great capacity for kindness, devotion, and sincerity. Eri is loving, compassionate, devoted, energetic, and selfless at his best; Cynical, jaded, nihilistic, pushy, oblivious, hysterical, and dramatic at his worst.

__Though Eri was born at sea, which lent him a powerful work ethic and knack for wit and strategy, he had always been fascinated with the many magicks of the realm-- namely Arcane.

___Through tragedy he became shipwrecked on the shores of the Starwood Strand, wounded and lonely. Eri was found among flotsam on the beach by Cronus, who then took him in and nursed the young skydancer back to health. The new lair he awoke to was a safe haven founded by Cronus's father, Julianus. A home and school for dragons wishing to take refuge.

_____Here Eri found his place and a new family of dragons who he came to love and admire. Eventually he and Cronus's brother, the High Archmagus, Corvus would fall in love. On marrying he became the head of the clan he would properly name 'Kelpie'. As time passed, Eri became an esteemed Magister, great leader, and a disciple of the House Starseeker under the Arcanist.

_____Eri and Corvus's family would protect, guide, and tutor mages for an eternity to come, sending countless talented sorcerers to the Arcanist's sanctum. They have parented many wonderful children, and are always willing to tutor new mages.

Eri is abundant with fine fabrics, jewelry, gems, perfumes, and luxurious furniture, though he especially loves to share with others! He is also a glutton for indulging in food, sweets, and drinks. He loves to eat and be merry. Every holiday is a big ordeal when Eri is in charge! The flamboyant skydancer loves to throw a big party and wow all the guests, and is quite the flirty showman!

Magister Eri is surrounded by loved ones who push him to better himself as a partner, a parent, and a friend. He is blessed with many friends and a growing family for which he is very proud of! He would fight for them; he would die for them. His loyalty, devotion, resolve, and fierce protectiveness are unshaken by of fear or concern. His family is everything to him, and there's no price he wouldn't pay to achieve their happiness, even if it meant his own suffering.

Eri is a devoted mother who nurtures and supports all his children as much as possible! He and Corvus have four heirs; Niraja, Kasumi, Cadence and Caelum, and one more on the way.

Eri was very close to his father before the shipwreck, and though they were separated for quite a long time he is eager to rekindle their relationship. It was only in recent years that he met his mother, and the two have hit it off quite nicely.

_____The Academy is nestled near the shore of the Starwood Strand, with the beach not too far of a walk and a stream that runs nearby. After a near-apocalyptic happenstance, a great protective ward was grown in the form of a gargantuan Starwood Willow that towers over the entrance and courtyard of the Academy that the Kelpie Clan calls home.

_____As a scholar, Eri is quite accomplished. He has pioneered many new methods of doing things, invented spells and runes of his own, and created a cataloging system that became crucial to the functioning of the Academy. He's also invented a few clever glamours.

_____Eri hails from the house Starseeker and takes great pride in having esteemed rankings and credits both in his house and with the Arcanist himself. The beaming Magister always loves to show off the Kelpie Clan trophy case to visitors and new students alike. Though his health gives him complication, he loves to help anywhere he can.
