Bluemoon

Shy, and usually the odd one out, Blue learned from an early age how to hold her ground. Sure, her mother is a mystery to the Clan, and her father a lowly hard worker, but what is it about Blue that makes her hatch-mates treat her so badly?

Bluemoon has never known love outside of her own parents. What will she be? And can anyone thaw out her heart, for she is the essence of the Mirror's coldness. (Seriously, she exaulted her own parents and hatch-mates when she returned with Layla.)

Blue finally finished mourning the loss of her mate, and accepted her daughter's wishes to move into Wind. At first, she was scared that the change would be too much for her, and wouldn't leave the lair for any reason whatsoever.

Finally Layla, who loved the freedom of the wind, and new luscious surroundings, encouraged her mother out with an entire stock of food items and holidays items, to just look around.

"It's Minstrel Jamboree, mother, the first day of celebrating Wind! Please come with me to see this world I was born to?" These words deeply hurt Blue because she remembered the day Layla was born here, and she had been with Blaecleah..he was still alive.

Blue's eyes softened, "Alright, my little one, for the holiday, I'll try and enjoy it."

As Blue wandered around, she came to tears as memories flooded to her and her song seemed to play around her instead of on repeat in her own mind.

A year has gone by, and Blue was slowly getting better though still missed the main reason she hadn’t given up. Layla was doing better than ever, and had plans to create a new lair.

“Layla, you haven’t even looked for a mate, how do you know how to start a new-“ Blue was cut off when she suddenly noticed a lone figure come flying in. A greeting cry reaches her ears and the two females stare in shock and untamed joy as Blaecleah landed before them.

“Blaecleah!”
“Daddy!”
The stunning male mirror of Blue’s dreams that haunted her the past year, was back!
A great long celebration of the small family was mainly of happy chirps, purrs, and body contact that lasted for days.
Blue would never want to blink or lose sight of her mate, for fear she was hallucinating, but when Blaecleah was still ever present beside her the next day she couldn’t help rejoicing with her daughter.

“Oh gracious Deities, I thought you were gone forever...” Blue softly whispered to Blaecleah, as Layla curled up like a hatchling with her reunited parents. She breathed in Blae’s breath, and silently counted each heartbeat of her beloved as he slept before her. And every morning, she’d wake up eagerly to watch her love’s beautiful eyes open, stunned each time at his color.
