As a eggling his egg rolled out of his nest. This egg fell in a traveler's pack. A loud noise scared the traveler. The egg fell out into a land filled with darkness. And moments later the egg hatched. The hatchling was scared and alone. The hatchling started to whimper and cry. Then out of the blue a bright orange dragon came up to the hatchling. "Poor thing....... here" the dragon pick me up and placed me on her back. ''Don't worry I'll take care of you my Lil NightEagle''....

Growing up NightEagle felt left out by his peers but they tried to get him involved with clan activities but he was a intervet. Most of the time he stayed in his nest. His adopted mother was worried about her son he would stay in one spot for hours. Poor NightEagle was terrified by the world around him. So when the Shade attacked DarkCrystal clan he just sat in his one spot and watch his clan get destroyed. But the shade attacked him. He just sat there as he saw what was to come of his world. Then he passed out. Awaking to see his mother holding him.
