Alastrina

Alastrina was born pleasant and carefree, like most hatchlings. She was bright blue and purple, not a speck of black on her. Almost immediately her parents began training her in the arts of magic. She was interested and took to the skill quickly; however, as she got older, she began to dabble more in other types of magic. Her parents forever warned her about the dangers of dark magic, but it was always that forbidden thing she wasn't supposed to touch. Needless to say, she was drawn to it.

As she began to experiment more in dark mark, black began creeping onto her scales. Other dragons were terrified, exclaiming it to be the work of demons and devils, tainting the young dragon's soul. Her attitude began to change and there was a secluded nature to her that set the other dragons on edge. They didn't wish to approach her, but they never left her alone long enough to keep experimenting, so she left the clan and went off in search of one that would appreciate her and her magic.

Alastrina is secretive about her magic, reluctant to show other dragons. She is used to the mistrust of her clan. Subsequently, she doesn't trust other dragons. She believes that the majority are out to get her and steal her magic. This belief results in her frequent absence from large groups of dragons, instead remaining near the edge, hovering.
