Cesil

While as a hatchling he was as curious and chatty and excited as you would expect, somewhere in his adolescence he became almost withdrawn, seeming almost to snarl at sudden company during introverted moods, and watch them leave a bit longingly when they could tell their company wasn't desired. Those moods have become more frequent in a short span of time, lasting longer each time, until it has become a near constant state.

He's lost the irritation and bitterness of his adolescence, but he does spend most of his time away. Around dusk is when he wakes, when the rest of the clan, or at least most of them, are finishing their night meal and settling down to commune before heading to their dens, and he explores the night. He avoids anywhere too crowded, either by beast or clan, finding some sort of peace in the quiet, but with an increasing sense of longing, like he's missing something, and as much as he won't admit it, even to himself, it's eating away at him.

He's back by dawn, usually right before even the earliest of risers in the clan start to stir. He'll stay up and greet the slowly waking clan when he misses their company, but most mornings he returns to his quiet, shadowed nest, and sleeps away the loudest hours.
