November is a wealthy and capable merchant, who seems to have a friend in every clan you could name. She is never in one place for too long, but Oustobo pass is one of the most major settlements in the west Plague area (though that's not saying much) in which she keeps and sells her wares. Likeable and clever, she is a prominent figure in a major north - sornian trading network, and is on good terms with various beasclans. Her familiar, originally a diplomat representing the dunhoof clans of the Light territiories, is her occasional translator, probable second in command, and perhaps confidant. Some other beasclans see her as a secretary or glorified pet, and there are dragons who see her as a dangerous anti dragon influence on November. November doesn't ever appear bothered - she is almost as skilled in politics as in business.
