Deniz is a sweet, somewhat slow Mer-dragon that lives in the safe shallow waters of Skyhill's beach. He is often seen laying out in the sun on the beach or up in the pool in Skyhill's palace section, though no one is quite sure how he gets up there. He has a beautiful singing voice, often singing for his close friends and actually writing a song or two for his boyfriend, Stone.

In his past, he went through quite a bit, struggling with depression due to his overthinking. Thankfully, he was able to overcome it and has been known to say “I’m just so happy now. All the time. Because I know what it’s like to be sad.” He seems to have troubles getting sleep though and will often be a bit slow to answer or react to things. Along with that, he’s not extremely observant in general, often overlooking small things that others would have noticed and can often be a bit of a scardy cat.
