B I O G R A P H Y
When the clan first came to the Strand, they noticed a Spirit, so to speak, that already inhabited the Woods. The Spirit was peaceful, and upon further investigation they noticed the Spirit did not care whether or not the Clan stayed in their area of the Woods or not. It showed itself as a comforting prescence at night, a small voice heard within the stream nearby, the tinkling laughter heard as the wind rustled the trees. Occasionally Elivaros or Koinzelle would leave trinkets, food, or other items for the Spirit to keep; offerings and thanks for allowing the Clan to live in the Strand. Hatchlings would leave knick-knacks they'd find while romping around, familiar enough with the Spirit's prescence that they'd know how far the Clan's territories reached and when it was dangerous to go past it. |

One day the Clan found a dragon among them, one they had never seen before. This dragon did not cause any mishaps or mayhem or anything of the sort. They just... slotted themselves in so seamlessly and knew everyone's habits, as if they were always there... They introduced themselves as 'Solkip', and referred to themselves as female. Elivaros and Koinzelle noticed that the self-named dragon had the same prescence as the Spirit that inhabited the Strand. A quiet deliberation later, and the dragon became a permanent resident of the Clan, albit distant at times. |

Solkip always treated the Hatchlings well and deferred to the decision of the Clan heads. However, when arguments sprung up - how to allot the Clan treasure, what foods should be stockpiled for the season, where to take trainees before they were to study with the Arcanist - the Spirit-in-Dragon-Form was quick to solve it. "I think the Mire, with Balsalmic. It would do good for him to gain experience in leading," or "We have more Dragons that eat meat than insects; send Kalfu and Mephyst to hunt today." Despite this, the Spirit-in-Dragon-Form would oftentimes be found in a seperated part of the Clan grounds, making noises in the back of her throat, or blowing into a long pipe. Strange sounds would come out, sometimes haunting, sometimes cheerful. Othertimes the Spirit-in-Dragon-Form would be seen writing in strange letters of lands long-past, letters that matched tattered manuscripts of the magi from the Second Age. When questioned, Solkip would shake her head ruefully and say nothing on the matter. |
