Mor
Huntress   |
Mor specializes in hunting down the sickest and the worst dragons that lurk around the kingdom ruled over by the imperial monarchs, Narcissus and Nemesis. She has taken down slave traders of all sorts, familiar abusers, smugglers, rare item traffickers, and even those who surround themselves with dark magics. Since being a hatchling, the crimson imperial has known that she is strong and clever. Her keen attention to details makes her a skilled detective and her battle skill makes it near impossible for an assignment, once tracked down, to escape. Mor is incredibly proud of her position as an important part of the kingdom. In her opinion, there are few jobs more prestigious than hers other than that of king and queen. The royal watchdog is often trailed by her own henchmen, two handsome skydancers named Adair and Greer. Adair is the more overzealous of the two. Though he adores Mor, he is often impatient in her slow and contemplative process to complete each assignment. His desire to punish the wrong and the evil is often uncontained and his enthusiasm leans more toward torture than true, honest justice. Greer is much the opposite. He follows Mor out of a sense of duty, but her wish is his command. Greer believes that if he knew better than Mor how to solve a case, then he would have her job and would not just be one of her henchmen, so he is more than happy to do as she says to the letter. The skydancers’ devotion is evident. It is clear that they are both dedicated to Mor and to the protection of the kingdom despite approaching their goals differently. Her current assignment is a necromancer named Lir who, with his own skydancer followers, immerses himself in death and dabbles in the imperfect art of reanimation. Few dragons who meet Lir aside from his own twisted followers ever make their ways back home. Mor’s efforts to bring him to justice will likely lead to one of her most vicious battles for the kingdom. Lir is not weak dragon, and Mor will likely never understand him enough to put him in a corner. Mor is a dutiful dragon. There is little she thinks of but the details of her current assignments and the patterns in the cases of previous assignments. She borders on obsessive, and though Narcissus and Nemesis trust her with their kingdom and their lives, they know that were she not married to her work, she has the potential to be as dangerous as some of the monsters she hunts down. |
