ＪＯＮＡＴＨＡＮ ＪＯＥＳＴＡＲ

Jonathan Joestar is the first in the line of Jojos. His story started with Dio Brando, a bratty and snobby boy who ruined a good part of Jonathan's life. Dio stole the first kiss of Erina Pendleton, Jonathan Joestars future wife, and when beat black and blue by Jonathan, also eliminated Jonathan's dog, Danny, as revenge. Dio first dawned the Stone Mask after Jonathan was joined by Speedwagon, a man who helped Jojo find the cure to the poison Dio had slowly be putting into Jonathan's father, George's, food. Aiming to stab Jonathan, George instead stepped in and died soon after as a result of his illness and the wound. Dio was thrown through the window, but when the area was searched, his body was gone. Jonathan's family home was set alight by Dio with his new powers. The two fought until the inferno began to swallow them, thus Jonathan threw Dio onto the statue of Venus in a last-ditch attempt. Jojo lived, receiving major burns in the process. The nurse who took care of him was his Erina, whose feelings for Jonathan had still not been extinguished. Shortly after, Jonathan meet Will Zeppeli, a man who taught him the ways of Hamon, an ancient technique involving good control over your breathing. The Ripple - Hamon - would help lead to Dio's defeat, but not without sacrifices. After much training, Jonathan, Speedwagon, and Zeppeli all began the fight against Dio. William was killed in the process, but he knew it had been coming and knew he had to do it for Jonathan to continue on, and that he did. In a fierce battle, Jonathan overpowered Dio and sent Dio flying off a cliff. With the threat of Dio gone, the Stone Mask was destroyed and Erina married Jonathan shortly after. A few days after their marriage, Erina and Jonathan left on a cruise as part of their honeymoon but all was cut short by an attack from Dio. Despite Dio being just a head now, he still possessed the ability to function and attacked Jonathan viciously. While Jonathan fought honorably, this would be the first death of many. Taking Dio with him, Jonathan died on February 7th, 1889 while his wife Erina took cover in a coffin, carrying the child of a dead mother and realizing later on the only child of Jonathan. Hundred years later, a coffin was pulled out of the Atlantic containing Dio, whom had transfused his head with Jonathan's body. Joseph Joestar, the grandson of Jonathan Joestar, and Joseph's grandson, Jotaro Kujo, began the second fight against Dio. |
