Biography
Newly bought and adapting to clan lore--- please stand by.
For as long as she can remember, Agatha has always loved the stars. She spent many of her hatchling nights with her parents, soaring together above the trees and mists of their Shadow home. As they watched the small lights in the sky, she listened as her father wove tales between them. She didn't know any of the real constellations, then, but that didn't matter. The ones she and her father made up were more than enough.
When both her parents left to join the Lightweaver, it was hardly a surprise. All their love of the night sky, after all, spawned from adoration of the lights found within its fabric. But Agatha was not ready to follow their path to serve the goddess. Instead, she followed the stars she so loved, creating maps and charts as she did so. She kept close to the shoreline, heading East from the Tangled Wood and on into the Sunbeam Ruins, taking note of the position of the stars all along the way and writing all her findings in her journal. "They do more than tell stories." She wrote. "They can tell us where we are when we look to them." She continued on from the Shifting Expanse to the Ashfall Waste and from there to the Windswept Plateau, where she happened to cross paths with a bookish Fae by the name of Arrow. He shared her passion for learning and travel, and was eager to offer her a look at his own astronomy books. She accepted the invitation into his airship home to peruse the library held within it. It was here she first read tell of the famed Observatory of the Starfall Isles. She bid her new friend an eager farewell and he wished her good luck as she left to visit the Observatory for herself. She learned more than she could have ever dreamed of during her stay in Arcane, devouring generations of studies and theories, but she knew her journey wasn't finished and there was still so much to learn from it. So she packed her belongings once again, and trudged through the very far reaches of the Wandering Contagion before she arrived at Dragonhome. The ground is barren and expansive, but the sky is clear and close. |
