He loves the sense of adventure he gets exploring old abandoned temples and raiding crypts of all their loot. I mean the dead don't need this stuff anymore, right?

A lot of the time he can wander into danger, as a lot of scary creatures like to take up residence in the dark forgotten halls of ancient buildings, and some have been set with traps to prevent thieves like him from taking their sacred items. though from his travels he has developed keen senses and knows to keep his guard up and take things slow when he's exploring a new place

At some point along his life of relic snatching, he managed to pick up quite the companion, a longneck named bishop. the two of them make quite the pair as they pretty much hate what the other stands for and almost constantly get annoyed by eachother. though bishop has stuck with adagio as he has a quest to learn about ancient times and wants to learn more about the civilisations of old and about their culture, things only learned by exploring and studying the ruined cities and other building's left behind by those long gone.
